Abstracts from Chicago Architecture Tour

I suppose I could have included these in the last bunch, but I decided to separate them out as abstracts.

This last one I took pointing the camera up without looking. It was taken while passing under one of the many bridges, which we were advised not to look up due to falling rust. Okee dokee.

Chicago Architecture Tour

I recently went to Chicago for a company meeting and we got to go on an architecture tour. I had forgotten how beautiful Chicago really is.

I included the last shot because it's pretty symbolic to all of the construction going on in Chicago right now. These cranes are for the controversial "Spire." It will be quite impressive if they do build it, whether in a good or bad way. We shall see what happens.

Solvang, CA

Another photo essay, this one from Solvang, California. The story behind this town is that the Danish settlers that were first in the area decided to maintain their heritage, which is evident in the architecture and the food.

The California Salad Bowl

Another narrative of an organic farm in California's salad bowl. I need a people shot, but like these all the same.

California Central Coast Wineries

At the beginning of June, a friend and I took a road trip around the Central Coast in California. I worked on the narrative angle for my photos, so the next few postings will be from that trip. Here's the "story" of the wineries we went to outside of Santa Barbara.
